EB-5 Investor Magazine’s EB-5 Summit (Jan. 2015)

On January 17, 2015, Jeffrey Carr of EPR presented at the EB-5 Investor Magazine’s EB-5 Summit Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Mr. Carr presented on “best practices” in economic and job impact studies and EB-5 project business plans.


BLS Releases December Employment Data (Jan. 2015)

Unemployment declined 0.2% to 5.6% in the month of December, with total non-farm employment increasing by  252,000.  This caps off a year of consistent job market gains, with total non-farm employment increasing by an average of 246,000 per month in 2014.  Additionally, employment growth in October was revised up from 243,000 to 261,000, while employment gains in November were revised upward from 321,000 to 353,000.  The full BLS release is available here:

Jeff Carr and EPR named EB-5 Economic Consultant of the Year (Jan. 2015)

Jeff Carr and Economic and Policy Resources have been chosen as the 2014 EB-5 Economic Consultant of the  Year by eb5newsblog.org!  Mr. Carr and EPR were also honored with this award in 2013.  When it comes to economic consulting in the EB-5 program EPR continues to be counted as the best in the business.


Panel Presentation: Inaugural Vermont Development Conference (Dec. 2014)

On November 4, 2014, Jeffrey Carr of EPR participated in a panel discussion of the “Meet the Lenders” panel at Vermont’s First Development Conference held at the Double Tree Conference Center in South Burlington.  Mr. Carr presented an overview of the U.S. and Vermont Economic Outlook for 2015 for attendees.
